rope rattan magazine basket
Whether it's newspapers waiting to be read or recycled, no one will notice the clutter when they're in a large, colorful magazine basket. This one is dyed rope with a strong rattan base (not visible in photo) and gugo vine top handle.

wood stencil basket

These three wood baskets have an apple design stenciled on them. The square one has a swinging handle and the round one has a fixed scoop handle. Put sugar packets, utensils and napkins in them.

metal rattan flat back basket

This silver metal and rattan basket is an example of a flat back basket that hangs against the wall. It's lightweight enough to hang by a simple fancy push pin though you also can use screws, tacks and nails to hang these baskets. Use it to hold credit card and bank receipts or keys and eyeglass cases. Note the decorative vine wrapped rim.

rattan oval basket

Picture this basket on a small or medium sized accent table in the foyer. It'll be the first place residents and guests can drop their mittens or scarves on a cold day. The body and base of this basket is rattan. That's a green dyed rope rim and gugo vine top handle.

wood baskets

These two matching wood baskets are lightweight but have strong bases. They can be filled with a stack of cassettes and CD's. The swing top handles means you can tote them from room to room to car even.

mini salt pepper basket

The weavers on the sides of this mini basket are rope (some dyed black). And it has an interior divider which nicely separates the salt and pepper. The fancy black metal fixed handle makes it work as a caddy for carrying these condiments back and forth from the table.

wine basket
If you have more cooking utensils than kitchen drawer space in your home, use a wine basket to hold them on a shelf or counter. This one is made of sturdy rope and rattan.

knotted rope basket

This rattan basket with knotted (popcorn) rope design is holding several three ounce bags of cat treats. Since it's only 6 1/2 inches in diameter, it fits neatly on the corner of a table or on a shelf. It's also the right size for holding television remote control devices too.
